Nestled in the Hauts-Forts gallery, La Cachette is a well-kept secret for foodies and cheese lovers. More than just a restaurant, it’s a true piece of Avoriaz’s history. Once the first bar in the resort, at a time when the Hauts-Forts was still a hotel, La Cachette has always been an iconic place, a warm refuge after a day on the slopes.

Originally, its round bar offered a friendly and open atmosphere, inviting skiers and visitors to share a unique moment in the heart of the mountains. During the renovation in 2021, we wanted to preserve this spirit of authenticity and sharing by incorporating a large semicircular central table. This nod to our past recalls the mountain and refuge spirit, where tables are shared, and conviviality is always on the menu.

Today, La Cachette remains an essential place in Avoriaz, a lively haven where tradition, flavors, and good vibes come together.
